Ephesians 4:1-6: Unity and Maturity in the Body of Christ

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

This ministry utilizes two groups of servants, the conference room team and the support staff, both of which are of equal value to the success of our walks.  Without one, there would be no need for the other.  Therefore we look at both of these groups as part of the TEAM, not to be separated or segregated, and both to utilize their talents and respect their time sacrificed by each other.  To ensure that all of this works well, we have TEAM meetings prior to each walk.  Everyone is welcome to the first team meeting of any walk, up to the point of the commissioning service. Once the actual training begins the Conference Room training is opened only to those who are part of the Conference Room Team. The training meetings are designed to be a time of fellowship, worship, and training for the upcoming walks.  We do have separate conference room and support staff training time, where the groups are broken out and have specific discussions as to their roles on the walk.  This is a special time for the team to bond, and let God show us how HE is going to work and be glorified on the walk.  It is important for all members of the TEAM, which includes but is not limited to; Table Leaders, Assistant Table Leaders, Assistant Lay Directors, Spiritual Team, Music/Media Team, Board Rep, Work Area Chairperson and Assistant Chairperson, and any persons working in a work area during the walk, to be at these meetings.  This is where the TEAM will begin to bond together, and this is where issues are discussed that are directly related to that specific walk or specific pilgrim's needs on that walk.

Additionally, if you need help learning about a specific work area, would like someone to visit your Cluster to discuss the different work areas or have questions about the overall TEAM concept, please feel free to contact our Community Training Board Representative.
